1. Don't Put Yourself Down- It's important to recognise your weak areas, but it's not important to beat yourself up. Instead of thinking about your weaknesses, match them with strengths to help keep confidence levels high.
2.Be Beautiful - Fill your home with things that give you the most pleasure. Do worry about conforming to others' perception of beauty; simply choose things that appeal to you and just sit around and enjoy your beautiful things.
3.Bath before Bed- A warm bath will gently warm and relax you, and not only that, the reduction in your body temperature mimics your body's natural sleep rhythms.
4.Admire your Reflection- Make time each week to reflect on the decisions you have made and how they affected your life positively or negatively. Then make a promise to yourself to learn from your successes and failures.
5.Embrace Challenges- It's all too easy to be grateful for things like your house, family and loved ones, but remember to be grateful for life's challenges too. Often, it's facing challenges that helps uncover hidden strengths.
Always be happy, remember your happiness matters to me..

Black Is Beautiful
You're dark and you think you're not beautiful/handsome,Why are you discouraged? You don't need to bleach your skin because you wanna be like the "white-skin girls" you don't need to be white to be pretty/handsome,appreciate your complexion and only then will you realize how beautiful and lucky you are to be black.
Being black helps you skip a lot of things;
A)You don't get your face all red when you get slapped.
B)You don't get that obvious pitiful look on your face when you're under the sun or having those bold and obvious blemishes/red spots on your face. So you see? black they say is beautiful so be proud of it.

beauty and the heart
Beauty fades away with time but a good heart gets better all things being right. The heart is the most beautiful of all beauties.. Its tender and fragile,a good heart unleashes goodness..you don't see it you feel it,the feeling is pleasant.
You don't love with the face you love with the heart, have you ever heard this;the best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart by
Helen Keller. That is exactly what i mean!
Most faces turn beautiful when you apply make-up but the heart doesn't need "make-up" to look beautiful, its is naturally beautiful and beauty ain't all about physical looks real beauty comes from the inside and is called"inner beauty" this has got nothing to do with the face but the heart, there's no "face of Gold" but there's a "heart of Gold" very rare.. People with such hearts act, thing and unleash goodness upon others, having a bad heart makes you ugly no matter how pretty/handsome you think you are and it doesn't pay neither does it give you "inner happiness" be good to others like you are to your self.. You might not know but it will bring you admiration, favour and happiness. Stay Beautiful!

Tips on how to start your morning
Many people (and I was one of them too) think the morning is just an awful time of the day when you have to get out of bed with your eyes still closed and try to stumble around in order to get ready to start another day. By the time you finally wake up and get going you already feel stressed, depressed and angry with everything and everybody in this world. try these tips;
1) Try catching enough sleep:this helps you feel strong in the morning,if you go to bed late and by so doing you do not catch enough sleep before morning when your wake-up alarm rings you'll feel tired and irritated.
2) PRAY: you should say a short thank You prayer to God everyday and commit your day into God's hands before rushing off to work.
3)Intimacy with your Husband/Wife: this could be sex in the morning or just a little romance, spice up your sex life in your marriage by adding some morning flavour*wink*
4)Hang an inspiring morning picture in front of your bed: the picture could be a wedding picture of yourself and husband, or your children, just any picture as long as it gives you great memories this help your mindset, gives you that inner happiness and possibly drops a smile on your face before you get off your bed.
5)Go take a hot shower: a nice hot shower leaves your body feeling good all morning.
6)Put on the music: Playing a cool music that you like: classical, rock, country just play what ever makes you feel good,it works!
7)Don't start with newspapers/tv: Starting your day with news blocks is wrong, your mind is fresh after a good night sleep so filling it up with negative news about politics, economy, fights and all media reports could be bad for your morning.
8)Exercise: Your body needs to wake up as well as your mind so indulge yourself in a morning exercise be it,walking, jogging, yoga, cycling just free the body and that could help you with tons of energy too no matter how exhausting it could be.
9)Balanced breakfast: Many of us skip breakfast: a) because we do not have enough time for it; b) because we are trying to lose weight and breakfast is the easiest meal to skip. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day (you must have heard it at least hundred times already) because it helps you control that blood sugar that helps controls your mood and your energy during the day. A good break fast will help you loose and maintain weight, reduce fatigue and dizziness in the mid-morning hours.

Professor Bartholomew Nnaji resigns from his position as Nigeria Minister of Power
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Reuben Abati in a short press statement issued on Tuesday said “President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has accepted the resignation with immediate effect of the Minister of Power, Prof. Barth Nnaji.
“President Jonathan thanks Prof. Nnaji for his services to the nation under the present administration and wishes him well in his future endeavours.”
Details of the circumstances surrounding the resignation of the Ministers were not available as at the time of publishing this report.
Since his appointment as the Minister of Power, Prof Nnaji, a graduate of physics at St John’s University had canvassed for major reforms in the Nigeria comatose power sector.
As part of his reforms programme, the Minister has embarked on a scheme to privatise Nigeria’s power generation plants as well as the country’s transmission company. This move have pitched Prof Nnaji against the electricity workers, who felt threatened that the private companies would sack them if they assume management of privatised companies.
Prof Nnaji is the director and a founder of the Automation and Robotics Laboratory at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He was made a professor of mechanical and industrial engineering in 1992.
He is also the founder of the first indigenous owned power generating company in Nigeria and was also a former minister for Science and Technology in the country.

Theo Walcott: Arsenal fail to agree contract terms with winger
The 23-year-old, whose contract expires in 2013, wants to stay and is willing to continue negotiations.
But reports suggest Arsenal will sell him before the 31 August transfer deadline unless he signs an improved five-year deal worth £75,000 a week.
Walcott joined Arsenal from Southampton for £12.5m as a 16-year-old in 2006.
He has scored 42 goals in 222 appearances and won 28 England caps during his time at the club.
Walcott contributed 12 assists in the Premier League last season, many of which were for Robin van Persie.
Van Persie moved to Manchester United for £24m on 17 August, three days before Alex Song joined Barcelona.
Walcott started the home draw with Sunderland on the opening day of the season but was left on the bench for Sunday's draw at Stoke.
Arsenal waited until after the campaign began to open dialogue with Walcott's representatives and feel they have enough cover in wide positions if he is sold.
Manager Arsene Wenger has Lukas Podolski, Gervinho, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Andrey Arshavin and highly-rated 17-year-old Serge Gnabry at his disposal.
Oxlade-Chamberlain, 19, started England's Euro 2012 opener against France, with Walcott forced to settle for substitute appearances in all four of their matches in the tournament.

5 ways to keep LOVE alive
INTIMACY: this doesn't necessarily means sex(although its part of it)it could be easier like, holding hands while walking down the street, quick kiss, squeezing of shoulders. In every marriage there should be a deep intimacy, the couple should have intimate knowledge about each other.
ROMANCE: you don't need a date night or special occasions to feel romantic, that feeling should exist each time you behold your spouse and that feeling should also be kept alive because the couple proof to themselves that they still sexually attracted to each other even after years of marriage, so instead of watching the Tv and eating alone, put on some good music, light candles call your partner to join you and you both eat together.
MAKE OUT TIME TO TALK:Talking about anything and everything – your past, your future, your families – is one of the best parts about the early stages of a relationship, but eventually that need to talk for hours at a time starts to wear off. That doesn't mean disaster, but it does mean you have to start putting more effort into finding time to really talk. Long days, stress at work and any other number of issues can start to get in the way of meaningful conversations with your man, but if you want your love to last, you need to find time to talk.Instead of watching TV all evening, spare yourselves atleast 20/30 minutes to catch up on each others lives, discuss the day and how it went, talk about countries you'll love to visit and all that, just to keep the conversation going.
SUPPORT EACH OTHER
Making time to support each other in everything you do is a key aspect of keeping your relationship on track and thriving. Does your man play a sport? Go watch at least one game a month. Did he get a raise or promotion recently? Help him celebrate his accomplishment. The more you can do to show each other that you care about what's going on in your lives outside the relationship, the stronger your bond will grow. If you've got something significant coming up (a big race, family event, etc.) encourage him to join you or cheer you on. He may not realize you want him there, so make him understand.
INVOLVING GOD: you should have a perfect understanding on certain things like religion, there's freedom of worship but when people are married they become one so they should be able to decide who to worship and where to worship, always pray together, study the bible,do not forget God is the foundation of every marriage.
Try these tips and make sure you keep the love alive. Goodluck!

Tottenham and Real Madrid agree $50M Modric switch
English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid reached an agreement for the highly-anticipated transfer of Luka Modric on Monday, with the Croatia playmaker set to sign a five-year deal with Spanish champions.
Modric will undergo a medical before becoming Real coach Jose Mourinho's first signing since the 2011 August transfer window for a reported fee of $50 million.
The two clubs also announced a partnership which will see them work together with players, coaching, best practices and commercial activities.
Are footballers on a par with bankers?
"The strong relationship and affinity between our two clubs has resulted in the cementing of a longer-term partnership and the successful transfer of Luka Modric," Real president Florentino Perez said in a joint statement on the London team's website.
"We are delighted to welcome Luka and look forward to working closely with Tottenham in the coming years."
Modric made 160 appearances for Spurs, scoring 17 goals, after joining from Croatia's Dinamo Zagreb in 2008 for a fee of $26 million which equaled the club's transfer record.
The 26-year-old was named Tottenham's player of the season in 2010-11 and was linked with moves to Premier League rivals Manchester United and Chelsea -- he wanted to join the latter before the start of last season but was persuaded to stay.
With Tottenham failing to qualify for the Champions League despite finishing fourth last season, thanks to Chelsea's European triumph, new manager Andre Villas-Boas had been resigned to Modric's departure -- and the midfielder's performances at Euro 2012 enhanced his value.
"Luka has been a terrific player for us," said Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.

Monarch chased out of palace
Angry natives of Igburowo community in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State yesterday chased away their paramount ruler, Oba Pius Akinfesola Adewole, from his palace over alleged gross corruption and indiscipline.
The action was witnessed by a large number of kinsmen, who trooped out to show their disapproval for Adewole’s alleged sins.
The protest, which began at about 6am, involved chiefs and prominent citizens of the community, who expressed their feelings in songs over the alleged misrule of the traditional ruler, which they claimed had brought shame and disrespect to the community.
The villagers had earlier written a protest letter, dated August 3, 2012, which was signed by about 21 of their representatives, representing various interest groups, including high chiefs, female chiefs, otherwise called Opoji in local parlance, as well as male and female natives, members of Igburowo Development Committee (IDC), youth association and the secretary of the Akinbumiti Ruling House.
The letter was addressed to Governor Olusegun Mimiko, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs as well as the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice.
They demanded that the oba vacates the throne over some atrocities allegedly perpetrated in the community.
According to the letter, the monarch, who is known as the Akamuja of Igburowoland, was accused of forceful acquisition of land belonging to his subjects, frivolous litigation over subjects’ property, non-performance of traditional rites and assault on his chiefs and subjects.
He was also alleged to have connived with an indigene to defraud the community of N3.6 million meant for the payment of electricity bill to the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) Plc.
The indigene, who was allegedly nominated by the monarch as a representative of the community, was accused of diverting the money to his personal use.
He is facing prosecution at a Magistrate Court over the allegation.
Similarly, the monarch was also accused of running an autocratic regime by refusing to constitute the Oba-in-Council, several years after the death of some other high chiefs, called Iwarefas, who traditionally are required to run the township administration with him.
Besides, Adewole was also accused of refusing to convene traditional meeting places where people would gather to discuss communal matters.
The monarch was also accused of shortchanging traditional chiefs by refusing to pay them their full entitlements after he had allegedly collected same from the local government.
The community also accused him of fighting with his chiefs, illegal conversion of the community’s resources to personal use and writing of fictitious petitions and institution of several court cases against his subjects.
The protesters, who barricaded the major roads leading to the community, carried placards bearing inscriptions such as “Enough is Enough, 16 years of no development, no action,” “no, to backwardness,” “Igburowo says no to Akinfesola” “Go, Akinfesola, Go, Igburowo community rejects you Pius Adewole.”
The protesters, who marched from the main market to all the streets, later stormed the palace and ordered him out.
He was manhandled.
However, the quick intervention of Ore Divisional Police Officer (DPO) and his men saved the life of the monarch.
The police had hectic time rescuing the traditional ruler.
He was taken to the Ore Police Station.
Confirming the incident, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, Adeniran Aremu, said the traditional ruler was in police custody after he was rescued from his subjects who forced him out of the palace.
Aremu said policemen had been drafted to the town to maintain law and order, adding that investigation was ongoing.
The action was witnessed by a large number of kinsmen, who trooped out to show their disapproval for Adewole’s alleged sins.

Ex-CBN director shot dead in Owerri
A former Director with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Chief Charles Nwosu, was yesterday shot dead by gunmen in Owerri, Imo State.
Chief Nwosu, who hailed from Emeabia in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State, was reportedly killed at the Ekeukwu Owerri Central Market, along Douglas Road, Owerri.
His body has been deposited at the Federal Medical Centre, Owerri.
When Daily Sun visited the emergency/causality ward, scores of armed riot policemen and relations of the deceased were seen discussing the incident, while the hospital officials declined comments.
The police spokesman Mr. Vitalis Onugu, confirmed the incident.
Meanwhile, the Principal of the Holy Ghost College, Owerri, Rev. (Fr). Cyprian Ogu, narrowly escaped assassination from suspected cultists at his college residence in Owerri.
According to the Catholic weekly tabloid, The Leader, the suspected cultists shot several times through Fr. Ogu’s window, shattering all the pillows and bedsheets in the room.
The attack came barely two days after a cult group, the Black Axe Confraternity (Eiye), wrote the reverend father, threatening to kill him if he failed to quit the college before the end of the year.
The letter, dated August 16, 2012 with motto: “Forgiveness is a sin,” reads: “By this letter, you have been warned again to leave Holy Ghost College Owerri before the end of this year.
“You have continued to expel our members from the school hence, we have been mandated to capture Holy Ghost College, Owerri, so you either leave dead or alive because we will stop at nothing to make sure you leave. This is not a mere threat as more attacks will come your way if you ignore this notice and it seemed you have not learnt from our previous attacks. You have been warned again.”
The letter, it was gathered, was dropped at the principal’s doorstep.
Narrating his ordeal, the priest disclosed that dogs at the college rectory barked continuously for about two hours before the cultists struck, adding that it was the barking of the dogs that woke the residents of the school, sensing that danger was lurking around.
According to him, it was like a dream initially but when he heard the repeated gunshots very close to him, it became clear that the hoodlums were after him.

Seventeen civilians beheaded in Afghanistan's Helmand
Seventeen civilians have been beheaded in Afghanistan, local officials say, with 10 Afghan soldiers killed in a separate incident.
The civilians died in Musa Qala district, in the southern province of Helmand on Sunday night.
The 10 soldiers were killed in the same province when insurgents attacked a security checkpoint also on Sunday.
Meanwhile, an Afghan soldier reportedly killed two foreign soldiers on Monday in eastern Laghman province.
"Last night 17 local villagers, two women and 15 men, were beheaded by unknown people in Kajaki district," Daud Ahmadi, a spokesman for Helmand province, told Agence-France Presse (AFP) news agency.
"We don't know who was behind the killings at this time. We're investigating," he added.
'Insider plot'
The attack on the 10 soldiers took place in Washir district. It left four other Afghan soldiers injured and at least another five missing, reports said.
It is not clear whether they were abducted or went with the attackers voluntarily.
"There was an attack on one of our posts in Washir district. Ten soldiers are dead in that attack," Col Mohammad Ismaiel Hotak, deputy head of the regional co-ordinating body for the Afghan army and the US-led Nato force, was quoted by AFP as saying.
But Daud Ahmadi told AFP that the attack was an "insider plot". "Five others have gone with the Taliban with their guns," he said.
Both officials said that the incident was being investigated.
Attacker killed
The incident in Langhman province is one of at least 12 so-called "green on blue" attacks by Afghan security personnel on international troops this month. The nationality of the soldiers who were killed is not yet known.
"Isaf [International Security Assistance Force] soldiers returned fire and killed the attacker," an ISAF spokesman told AFP.
A total of 42 Isaf personnel have been killed by members of the Afghan security forces this year.
Currently, approximately 130,000 ("blue") Nato troops are fighting insurgents in Afghanistan alongside 350,000 ("green") Afghans.

Barclays Under-21 Premier League
Arsenal Under-21s’ impressive start to the new season continued apace on Saturday as they eased to a comfortable 3-0 victory over Blackburn at Emirates Stadium.
Sanchez Watt gave them the lead in the 14th minute, and Terry Burton’s side did not look back for the rest of a one-sided game.
After carving out a host of chances in the first half, they had to wait until seconds before the interval to double their advantage as Thomas Eisfeld converted from close range.
Conor Henderson added a third midway through the second half with a deflected drive to put the seal on another accomplished performance in front of more than 5,600 fans in north London.
Despite the impressive nature of their 3-1 victory over Bolton on the opening day of the season, Burton rang the changes for this match - possibly with Wednesday’s first NextGen Series fixture in mind.
With Damian Martinez suspended, James Shea was handed a chance to further his credentials after impressing against Bolton. Meanwhile, there was a surprise inclusion as Arsenal goalkeeping coach Tony Roberts was named on the bench, just three weeks after celebrating his 43rd birthday.
Elsewhere, Chuks Aneke - who scored against a Malaysia XI on the Club’s summer tour of the Far East - came into midfield, while Martin Angha bolstered a backline that also contained Daniel Boateng.
The visitors, meanwhile, only included two members of the side from that game in their line-up at Emirates Stadium, goalkeeper Matthew Urwin and Josh Morris.
After a low-key opening, the game sprang to life as Arsenal’s patient build-up play was rewarded with the opening goal.
Watt, who scored the only goal of the game against Blackburn in September, once again proved to be key man as he raced on to Aneke’s delightful through ball and slotted it under the onrushing Urwin with aplomb.
From that point on, Arsenal took total control. Soon afterwards the impressive Chuba Akpom found some space to the left of the box and unleashed a fierce drive that Urwin could only parry away. The ball dropped to the onrushing Aneke, but his effort flew just wide.
Arsenal’s waves of attack kept on building and Blackburn were struggling to keep the hosts from extending the scoreline. Just before the half-hour mark Aneke’s free kick was deflected just over by the head of a defender, before Craig Eastmond fired wide from the resulting corner.
Then, in the 39th minute, Eastmond found Watt in the area with a neat pass and the striker’s shot was palmed away by Urwin - but straight to the feet of Aneke. The midfielder seemed destined to double the Gunners’ advantage but his fierce goalbound effort was somehow headed over brilliantly by the backpeddling Raheem Hanley.
A second goal only seemed a matter of time, and seconds before half time it arrived from a familiar source, Eisfeld. But it owed much to Angha, who found space down the right and sent in a skidding cross that the German midfielder swept home for his second goal in as many games.
The second half started in much the same vein as the first had ended, but Arsenal had to wait until the 64th minute for their next chance. It came after a Blackburn defensive error gifted the ball to Kyle Ebecilio, but the substitute blasted well over the bar from the edge of the area.
It proved to be a much quieter half than the first, with Arsenal’s two-goal advantage meaning they never really needed to move out of second gear. They remained on the front foot, but chances proved much harder to come by.
But they did manage to extend their lead in the 73rd minute as Henderson’s drive from outside the box hit Peter Wylie and flew past the helpless Urwin. There was an element of luck about the goal, but it was no more than the dominant Gunners deserved.
It proved more than enough for Arsenal’s Under-21s, who will be delighted with a superb start to the new campaign.

Huge blast At Venezuela's main oil refinery Amuay
A huge explosion at Venezuela's biggest oil refinery has killed at least 24 people and halted production for two days, officials say.
At least 50 people were also injured in the blast which started a fire at the Amuay plant in Falcon state in the north-west of the country.
State Governor Stella Lugo said nearby houses had been damaged by the blast. The fire is said to be under control.
The refinery, one of the biggest in the world, produces 645,000 barrels a day.
Ms Lugo said there was no risk of further explosions.
Among the dead is a boy of 10. The army was sent in to help ferry the injured to hospital.
Analysts say refineries in Venezuela, South America's biggest oil producer, have suffered from a long list of problems including power failures and accidents.
Gas leak
Energy Minister Rafael Ramirez confirmed operations at the plant had stopped but he expected them to resume within two days.
He said that Venezuela had enough fuel supplies to guarantee continued exports and domestic supply, according to the Associated Press news agency.
Troops secured the area and were helping oil workers inspect the damage.
Mr Ramirez said the blast had occurred at 01:11 (05:41 GMT) on Saturday and head been caused by a gas leak.

Apple awarded $1bn in damages from Samsung in US court
A US jury has ruled that Samsung should pay Apple $1.05bn (£665m) in damages in an intellectual property lawsuit.
It said several of Samsung's devices had infringed iPhone-maker Apple's software and design patents.
The jury rejected Samsung's claims that several of its patents had been breached and awarded it no damages.
Apple may seek an import ban of some of its rival's products, blocking them from the US market. Samsung has said it will appeal against the ruling.
"We will move immediately to file post-verdict motions to overturn this decision in this court and if we are not successful, we will appeal this decision to the Court of Appeals," a statement from Samsung said.
Apple and Samsung account for more than half of global smartphone and tablet computer sales.
The nine-person jury at the federal court in San Jose, California had to consider 700 questions about each side's claim that its rival had infringed its intellectual property.
It deliberated for less than three days before coming to its unanimous decisions.
It rejected the South Korean firm's claim that Apple's intellectual properties were invalid. It added that Samsung was "wilful in its infringement" in many of the cases.
Not all of Apple's claims were upheld - it had claimed a total of $2.5bn (£1.6bn) in damages. Samsung had sought $519m.
Apple said it applauded the court "for finding Samsung's behaviour wilful and for sending a loud and clear message that stealing isn't right."
Samsung described the verdict as "a loss for the American consumer".
"It will lead to fewer choices, less innovation, and potentially higher prices," it added.
Software and designs
The Mesmerize, Galaxy Prevail and Infuse were among the handsets found to have infringed Apple's patents
The jury ruled that some of Samsung's handsets, including its Galaxy S 4G model, had infringed Apple's design patents for the look of its iPhone including the system it uses to display text and icons.
However, it dismissed the allegation that the South Korean firm's tablets had infringed the rectangular design used for Apple's iPad.
It also found that all the disputed Samsung devices had copied the bounce-back response in the iOS system's user interface, without paying a licence. This makes lists jump back as if yanked by a rubber band when pulled beyond their limit.
Another infringement involved use of Apple's tap-to-zoom feature.
Samsung failed to convince the jury Apple owed it money for using technologies it claims to own including listening to music on a device in the background while carrying out another task; and integrating a phone, digital camera and email facility into a single device.
'Think twice'
Michael Gartenburg, research director at Gartner, said the verdict could have major ramifications for the wider smart device sector.
"Apple patents being upheld will force the rest of the industry to both innovation and differentiation," he told the BBC.
"That will be a good thing for consumers in the long run. Anyone who was even thinking about borrowing a technology or design from Apple will think twice about it now.
"Apple's point was that it was possible to create an experience that doesn't look like its designs and only Nokia and RIM Blackberry are really doing that right now."

There has been a spate of lawsuits involving mobile-device makers, but this case had been viewed as one of the most significant to date.

Alicia keys drops new album"HUNGER GAMES"
You’re not alone if, upon seeing the cover art for Alicia Keys’ new album on Thursday, you assumed the singer must have been spending sleepless nights devouring Suzanne Collins’ “Hunger Games” trilogy.
“Girl on Fire”? Come on — obvious reference to Katniss Everdeen, right? Yeah … not so much.
When Entertainment Weekly asked Keys if her title had anything to do with the books or the film adaptations, the songstress revealed that no, it doesn’t, but not for lack of trying.
“It was such a shock when I heard about ‘The Hunger Games’ — I wasn’t aware of the book at that point. And I didn’t realize that, I guess, that’s what they call the one girl,” Keys said. “So we tried very hard to make it work and put the song in — and to put parts of what I was developing in with the movie. Anyway, obviously it came out way too early, so the timing wasn’t right. But no, it has nothing to do with ‘The Hunger Games.’”
Instead, it’s a reference to “that powerful feeling,” Keys said, noting that this “album represents a new me in every way.”
Understandable, considering that Keys is also a relatively new mom to son Egypt, nearly 2, whom she thinks might have to make a Blue Ivy-esque cameo on a song one of these days — or perhaps even team up with the Knowles-Carter progeny.
When EW joked about the prospect of a Blue Ivy/Egypt album, Keys responded with a laugh, “I’m telling you, I think that they’re going to have a big future.”

Nuri Sahin set for Liverpool as Arsenal end interest
Liverpool are confident of completing the loan signing of Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin on Friday after Arsenal ended their interest.
The Reds offered to pay a larger proportion of Sahin's £115,000 wages, swinging the deal in their favour.
There will also be an option to buy the player for £14m at the end of the loan.
"Hopefully in the next 24 hours we'll get some confirmation," said Reds boss Brendan Rodgers. "It's quite far [along]. He's a very good footballer."
Sahin had been expected to join Arsenal, having privately expressed a preference for the north London club but Liverpool and Real have now agreed a deal.
Real boss Jose Mourinho had given the go ahead for Sahin to move to the Premier League after the playmaker struggled to make an impression at the Bernabeu since a move from Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund last summer.
Sahin signed a six-year deal with the La Liga outfit but made just 11 appearances for them last season as they won the Spanish league title.

ANTHONIA EGBUNA KILLED BY AN ITALIAN JOURNALIST
An Italian man has been arrested over the murder of a Nigerian prostitute after police searching her apartment found a short story he wrote with close similarities to the killing.
Police in the northern Italian city of Turin discovered the nine-page story entitled "The Rose and the Lion" among the belongings of Anthonia Egbuna, whose body was fished out of the river Po in February, a Carabinieri spokesman told Reuters on Wednesday. She had been stabbed to death.
Police took some months to identify the body and then visited Egbuna's apartment last month.
After finding 34-year-old Ughetto Piampaschet's short story, police say they discovered he had been in a relationship with Egbuna, then 19, between February and August of last year.
They alleged in a statement that he murdered her in November because their relationship was going badly and she refused to give up prostitution - in what appeared to be a link to the short story.
"He loved her and he loved her more every day, but she did not want to leave the streets. All his efforts to convince her to change her life had failed. And for this reason she had become his torturer," reads an excerpt of the story quoted by police.
In the short story, the murderer strangles the Nigerian prostitute and then commits suicide.
"He wrote the story and gave it to her as a gift - to make himself look good," Ughetto Piampaschet's lawyer, Stefano Tizzani, told Reuters.
Tizzani said Ughetto Piampaschet had a "profound passion" for Africa and Nigeria, and saw Egbuna as an inspiration for his writing. "My client has declared his innocence and we are working to demonstrate it," Tizzani said.
Ughetto Piampaschet told investigators after his arrest that his relationship with Egbuna changed after he started dating another Nigerian woman last August, though he remained in contact with her.
His lawyer said his client stopped seeing Egbuna after he was threatened by people who control the Nigerian prostitution business in Turin.
"He stopped calling her after he was threatened and intimidated and told not to see her anymore," said

Ex-militants securing NNPC’s oil pipelines
THESE are good times for former Niger-Delta militants, going by reports of their fortunes.
Mujahhid Dokubo-Asari, leader of the Niger Delta People’s Volunteer Force, earns $9 million (N1.420billion) annually, guarding pipelines of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) , The Wall Street Journal reported yesterday.
The paper, which is well respected in the financial world, reported that the contract was sealed last year.
It said: “Last year, Nigeria’s state oil company began paying him $9 million a year, by Mr. Dokubo-Asari’s account, to pay his 4,000 former foot soldiers to protect the pipelines they once attacked. He shrugs off the unusual turn of events. “I don’t see anything wrong with it,” said the thickly built former gunman, lounging in a house gown at his home here in Nigeria’s capital.”
NNPC, the paper said it gathered from one of its senior officials, is giving $3.8 million (N599.64million) a year apiece to two former rebel leaders, Gen. Ebikabowei “Boyloaf” Victor Ben and Gen. Ateke Tom, to have their men guard delta pipelines they used to attack. Another general, Government “Tompolo” Ekpumopolo, maintains a $22.9 million-a-year (N3.614billion) contract to do the same, the official said.
The paper said: “A liaison to Mr. Tom declined to comment on the contracts. Mr. Ekpumopolo didn’t return phone calls and messages. Mr. Ben, when reached for comment, asked, “How much money is involved in this interview?” and then hung up.
“Later, he sent an enigmatic text: “Very wel dn im nt dispose bt cnsider 100%al u wnt ,we need investors in niger delta absolute peace is guarante.”
“For President Goodluck Jonathan, a Niger Delta native, such lavish expenditures have become a political liability. Despite a growing economy, his country of 167 million struggles to finance even the basics, starting with power plants, roads and sewers. A blossoming middle class in Nigeria’s cities has put further strain on public infrastructure.”
The paper also said the country is spending hundreds of millions of dollars a year to maintain an uneasy calm in the oil-rich delta, where attacks ranging from theft to bombings to kidnappings pummeled oil production three years ago, to as low as 500,000 barrels on some days.
It added: “This year alone, Nigeria will spend about $450 million on its amnesty programme, according to the government’s 2012 budget, more than what it spends to deliver basic education to children.”
It quoted Jonathan’s aides as saying the treasury would face an even worse drain if a full-blown militancy in the delta flared up again.
“If it’s too huge, what are the alternatives?” said Oronto Douglas, a senior adviser to Mr. Jonathan.
But for the Managing Director of Shell, Mutiu Sunmonu: “For you to address the whole issue of poverty and development, you need some kind of peace. That is what I think the amnesty programme has offered.”
The paper noted: “Theft fell sharply. Yet now, just as Nigeria’s state oil company has begun institutionalising pipeline-watch jobs for some ex-militants, theft has blossomed again.”
Sunmonu said: “It’s quite an escalation. If nothing is done, it will continue to increase because more and more people will just come to feel that this is a gold field. We’re not going to give up on this and run away from it. We believe it can be stopped.”

Chelsea beat Reading in six-goal thriller
Late goals from Fernando Torres and Branislav Ivanovic gave Chelsea a 4-2 win over promoted Reading at Stamford Bridge Wednesday.
The hard fought victory leaves Chelsea top of the early standings in the English Premier League with two wins from two games.
But they were made to work hard by the battling visitors, who led 2-1 deep into the second half after Frank Lampard had put the home side ahead with an 18th minute penalty.
Chelsea's new signing Belgium's Eden Hazard was again influential as they went ahead, winning a penalty after being pulled down by Chris Gunter.
Lampard easily beat Adam Federici and last season's Champions League winners looked set for a comfortable victory.
But in a dramatic turnaround, Russian international Pavel Pogrebnyak leveled with a firm header from a Garath McCleary cross before the visitors went ahead as Danny Guthrie's free kick found its way past Petr Cech.
It was a soft goal to concede by the home goalkeeper, but midway through the second half Chelsea were level after an even worse blunder by Federici.
He allowed a long range speculative effort from Gary Cahill to go under his body, similar to his mistake against Stoke in Reading's EPL opener Saturday as they drew 1-1.
Chelsea pushed forward in search of a winner, but there was an element of fortune as Torres struck, replays appearing to indicate he was offside as he received a pass from Ashley Cole in the 81st minute.
Federici's miserable evening was complete when the Australian came up for a corner in injury time, but it was cleared quickly and Torres then Hazard set up Ivanovic for the clinching fourth goal.

NUDE PIC OF PRINCE HARRY
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas -- unless you're Prince Harry and TMZ publishes pictures of you cavorting naked during a game of strip billiards.
The tabloid website posted the photos online Tuesday night. It said the romp featuring the royal, who is third in line to the throne, took place four days earlier at a "high rollers hotel suite" on the Las Vegas strip.
One photo shows Harry, stark naked but for a wristwatch and a necklace. His hands cup his genitals. His face is turned toward the television set in the suite. And his body partially shields that of another person, also naked.
A second picture shows him hugging a woman from behind next to a pool table. Both are naked.
Palace officials confirmed the photos are of the prince.
"Prince Harry has been on a private holiday before he resumes his military duties," said a palace official, declining to be named in line with protocol.
Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper website said the publication of the photographs "risks embarrassing Buckingham Palace and raises questions about the prince's security arrangements."
The website of the Daily Mail, a middlebrow tabloid, suggested that "Harry needed a rest after all that Olympic duty but it appears the fun may have got out of hand."
Neither website ran the photos, but the images quickly circulated worldwide, providing plenty of fodder on Twitter.
"The Queen must be sooo proud that Prince Harry showed us his crown jewels!!!! Lol," said Danielle Monaro, part of the Elvis Duran And The Morning Show, a syndicated radio program.

Pietersen out of England's Twenty20 squad
England will make their defense of the World Twenty20 title without gifted batsman Kevin Pietersen, who was omitted from their 15-man squad Tuesday.
Pietersen was man of the tournament in their triumph in the Caribbean two years ago, but is at odds with teammates and the England management for "provocative" texts sent to opposition South African players.
The 32-year-old was left out of the third Test against South Africa at Lord's, which ended in a 51-run defeat, despite scoring a superb century in the previous match of the series.
He has apologized for the text messages, which allegedly criticized England captain Andrew Strauss, but it has not been enough to earn him a recall to the England fold.
"Kevin Pietersen's future involvement is still being determined and he was therefore not considered for selection in either squad," national selector Geoff Miller told the official England and Wales Cricket Board website.
South African born Pietersen averages nearly 50 runs per innings in Test cricket and is renowned for his ability to score quickly in one day internationals and the Twenty20 format.
But earlier this year he made a shock announcement to retire from one-day internationals and Twenty20 matches for England.
After his superb 149 in the second Test against South Africa, Pietersen cast further doubt on his future by saying "obstacles" must be overcome for him to continue playing.
He was believed to be referring to a fake Twitter account which portrayed him in unflattering terms and was being followed by several of his teammates.
But Pietersen was soon using YouTube to announce that he was available again for England in all forms of cricket.

Eight Police Men Arrested
Eight riot policemen were on Tuesday arrested in parts of Akwa Ibom and Cross River states for illegal roadblocks and improper dressing.
The Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Mohammed Abubakar, had on assumption of office inaugurated a new Police Mobile Force to arrest and institute disciplinary measures against policemen found mounting illegal roadblocks.
A PMF team led by the Commander in charge of Ethics, Doctrine and Monitoring, Mr. Anietie Eyoh, arrested three errant policemen in Uyo and five in Calabar.
Two riot policemen, who abandoned their beat at the National Independent Power Plant to mount illegal checkpoint along the Calabar-Itu Expressway, were arrested while two others were picked up for improper dressing at the MOPOL 11 Command, and one outside in another part of Calabar.
Also, at the Margaret Ekpo International Airport in Calabar, another riot policeman was arrested for violating the rules on escort of VIPs stipulating that the security personnel must not be less than two in number.
The Commissioner of Police in charge of PMF, Force Headquarters, Abuja, Mr. Mbu Mbu, said suspects would undergo in-house trial and if found guilty shall be punished.
He said, “We have our departmental disciplinary procedure. The IG made a pronouncement that had to do with dress code, that they must be combat ready at all times. These are the things that we are now trying to enforce.
“We have forwarded the signals to all field commanders and have given them enough time so that the men would conform to the directive.”

FUEL SCARCITY!
The Jetties and Petroleum Tank Farm Owners Association has said it will from Wednesday (today) shut down its depots across the federation to press home its demand for payment of fuel subsidy.
The Executive Secretary of the association, Mr. Enoch Kanawa, made this known in an interview with our correspondent in Abuja on Tuesday.
JEPTFON owns 60 per cent of depots in the country, while the remaining 40 per cent belongs to major marketers.
Kanawa said contrary to claims by the FG that marketers were being paid, none of them had received payments for fuel importation.
He said operators in the industry were currently being owed over N200bn by the government for fuel imported.
This, he said, had led to a halt in their business operations since the banks had refused to lend them money to import fuel.
He said, “We are closing down our operation because it is not practicable to continue in business, since the operating environment is hostile and we believe that we need to be in business.
“Government can still go ahead with its investigation of indicted oil marketers but payment should continue so that we can continue to import products.
“We have collected money from the banks and interest rates are running and all these things are financial burden on us and we are also owing banks.
“So at the moment, the banks are not ready to give us more money to import, and as a matter of fact, many of us have run out of products and within the period, we have been forced to pay salaries and some of us are owing salaries.
“At the moment, we are contemplating retrenching some of our workers when we close down our jetties.
“Government is owing over N200bn to our members generally in the industry for this year alone. We don’t know who they say they are paying. Maybe they are paying those briefcase people because we are not aware of any of our members that have been paid. So we have no option than to close down operation tomorrow.”
Efforts to get the Minister of Finance’s Senior Special Assistant on Communications, Mr. Paul Nwabuikwu, to react to JEPTON’s claim that none of its members had received subsidy claim, did not succeed.
He did not pick calls to his mobile phone neither did he respond to a text message sent to him as at press time.
But the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, had in a statement on Friday said N42.66bn had so far been paid to marketers between April and July.
She had said, “We would also like to stress that marketers with legitimate and unencumbered claims have been paid and will continue to be paid as these details show.”

There’s so much belief in squad - GERVINHO
Gervinho says there is a real sense of belief among Arsenal’s players about the season ahead - and he is confident they will soon end their wait for silverware.
Arsène Wenger’s side were held to a goalless draw by Sunderland on Saturday, but that has done little to dent the optimism within the squad.
Gervinho is delighted with the way the team is shaping up after a busy summer in the transfer market and says it bodes well for the campaign ahead.
“There's great belief that we can contend for trophies,” the Ivorian told Arsenal Player. “This is important, not only for the players, but also for the Club in general.
“There is real hope that we can bring trophies to Arsenal. Every player is conscious of this and we're going to do all we can to achieve it this season.
“We've had a few changes at the Club and there's a good spirit among the group - we're all enjoying playing together. Everyone is happy and it goes without saying that the group is up for having a good season.”
Wenger now has wealth of attacking options following the signings of Lukas Podolski, Santi Cazorla and Olivier Giroud, and Gervinho says that could prove crucial this term.
“I know Olivier Giroud personally from the French league,” he said. “He's a good striker, he's really impressed me and has made a good impression generally.
“These new signings will help us move on and I think they are a good set of strikers.
“We've got lots of options in attack, but every team is different, every team has it's own players and every team has got it's own qualities up front.
“But the most important thing is that we've got a good strikeforce, we have to concentrate on ourselves, take care of our own business and I think that our attacking options can really make a difference this year.”

Crucial week for DAVID VILLA
According to some reports in Mundo Deportivo, David Villa will join Barça’s expedition to Sweden and then Bucharest, where the team will face Manchester United and Dinamo Bucarest. In fact, Mundo Deportivo assures that Villa will join the expedition, and that he might even get some minutes on the field, for the first time since his injury last December.
Villa was cleared by doctors some days ago and has been training normally with his team mates since the start of the preseason. He has shown that he is in excellent shape, and we sincerely hope we can see him on a football field very soon!

ManUnited lose on Robin Van Persie debut
Robin Van Persie played in a Manchester United shirt for the first time, but he could not stop his new club falling to an opening day defeat at Everton.
Marouane Fellaini powered home a near-post header in the 57th minute to ensure a 1-0 victory for the Merseyside team and an early blow for Sir Alex Ferguson's desire to wrestle back the English Premier League trophy from neighbors Manchester City.
And Everton's victory was no piece of luck. It was carved out by a gritty, determined side who tried for every opportunity and won plaudits after the game for defending the lead.
Fellaini had nearly opened the scoring just seven minutes before, when he fired wide. But the second time there was no doubt and he found a gap through the defenders to get it into the center of the net.
Whilst Everton seemed to be tiring, they still held their own when Manchester United attacks came. Shinji Kagawa was sending in a couple of balls for the likes of Wayne Rooney to work with, but nothing came of them.
Van Persie started the game from the substitutes bench, but Sir Alex decided to bring on his new star in the 68th minute as a replacement for Danny Welbeck, who was seemingly running out of ideas to break through a resolute Everton defense.
He did not waste any time in trying to make a mark on his new team. Within a minute of coming on he whipped in a corner kick which required an alert Everton back line to sweep clear.
But after that, Everton sat back and frustrated Manchester United's attempts to try and get chances to the new signing. And the Goodison Park crowd were happy to see them do it .
The English Premier League was not the only league to see a shock result on Monday. In La Liga, newly promoted Deportivo La Coruña sent out a strong message on their return to La Liga by beating last season's seventh placed club Osasuna by 2-0.
Two loan players ensured the victory against Los Rojillos. Colombian midfielder Abel Aguilar, who normally plays for Hercules, struck in the 53rd minute of the game and the second came two minutes into time added on from Nélson Oliveira, who is on loan from Benfica.

US COMMEDIAN PHYLLIS DILLER DIES
Diller broke into comedy at a time when there were very few female stand-up comics
US comedian Phyllis Diller, a staple of stand-up and television, has died at the age of 95.
Her former manager, Milton Suchin, said Diller died on Monday morning in Los Angeles "peacefully in her sleep with a smile on her face".
Diller broke into comedy in the 1950s, after a career as an advertising and radio writer.
She suffered a near-fatal heart attack in 1999, and retired in 2002. The cause of her death has not been released.
Diller was known for her distinctive, cackling laugh, large hair and outlandish costumes.
Born in Lima, Ohio in 1917, Diller aimed many of her harshest jokes at herself, and made the antics of a fictional husband named Fang a permanent part of her routine.
In fact, in was her first husband Sherwood Diller who urged her to try comedy as a career. She made her debut at San Francisco's Purple Onion in 1955, when she was 37.
She performed at the club for 87 consecutive weeks.
"I was one of those life-of-the-party types," Diller told the Associated Press in 1965.
"You'll find them in every bridge club, at every country club.
"People invited me to parties only because they knew I would supply some laughs. They still do."
Sherwood managed her career until their 25-year marriage fell apart in the 1960s. The couple had five children together.
She was then married to entertainer Warde Donovan, but they separated within months.
Diller appeared in several movies and starred in two short-lived TV series in the 1960s. She continued to make appearances on US talk and game shows, and toured with Bob Hope through the USO, a troop morale non-profit.
"We lost a comedy legend today," Ellen DeGeneres tweeted. "Phyllis Diller was the queen of the one-liners. She was a pioneer."
Joan Rivers said she was "beyond saddened by the death of Phyllis Diller," whom she described as a friend.
"The only tragedy is that Phyllis Diller was the last from an era that insisted a woman had to look funny in order to be funny."
"She was the first lady of stand-up comedy," Fred Wostbrock, her publicist told Reuters. "She paved the way for everybody."

5 reasons why you should LOVE
Here are some of the reasons to fall in love with someone :
HIS KINDNESS
Kind to everyone, and not only me!
Help people without letting others know
His faith and act towards what he believes
Believe in his faith and implement it.. inside and outside
Continue learning and does not mind to teach others of it
With him, can learn more about everything.. together
Open-minded and did not judge people – after all, who are we to judge others?
HIS CHARM
Always happy and think positively
Respect others and does not differentiate people based on their social class, race, religion and other attributes (for example, though he might be the big guy (i mean.. the boss), he does not mind to eat lunch at the same table as the lowest rank employee! and he cares and treats them as friend!)
A gentleman that knows how to treat a lady (without we even asking!)
With him, you feel secured and calm
With him, your life is more interesting! (you try different things, do adventurous stuffs, or even do simple stuff – like watching films at home – with whole new level of fun)
HIS VISION
Know what he wants to be & do his best to reach it
Does not mind different views with us but act to try reach mutual understanding
HIS LOVE
Love you for whatever you are (and as such, make you want to be a better person, and love him more everyday!)
Love his family (mom & dad, brother & sister) truly and deeply
Love his friends & everyone around him

DUKE OF EDINBURGH DISCHARGED
Prince Philip, 91, spent five nights at the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary - his third hospital stay in nine months.
He was taken to hospital on Wednesday during the royals' annual summer break at Balmoral in Aberdeenshire.
It is not yet known if he will be fit to attend the Paralympics opening ceremony with the Queen on 29 August.
It was a low-key exit and he looked extremely relaxed, shaking hands with the doctors and nurses involved in treating him, said the BBC's Lorna Gordon, outside Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
Denise Webster, a senior staff nurse, told reporters: "The duke was a very good patient, and as he left the hospital he told staff to behave themselves and he said he was going back to enjoy the rest of his holiday."
The duke has now rejoined the rest of the Royal Family at Balmoral.
Buckingham Palace had described his admission to hospital as a "precautionary measure" after the recurrence of an infection he suffered shortly before the Diamond Jubilee concert on 4 June.
The duke missed the Royal Family's visit to morning service at Crathie Kirk on Sunday, before spending a fifth night at the NHS hospital, where he was seen by private physicians.
Blocked artery
Doctors told the duke to rest and he did not receive any visitors during his latest stay in hospital, however his family are said to have been in contact by phone.
In June, the duke spent five nights in hospital with a bladder infection following the Diamond Jubilee Pageant on the River Thames.
He missed some of the key celebrations for the Queen's 60-year reign, including the star-studded Jubilee concert.
The duke, who is the longest-serving royal consort in British royalty, also spent four nights in hospital over Christmas following an operation to clear a blocked heart artery.
In March, Prince Harry said the operation - which was successful - had given his grandfather a "new spurt of life".
The duke went to Balmoral after attending several Olympic events, including the opening ceremony, and he also saw his granddaughter Zara Phillips' Olympic equestrian debut.
Last week he was said to be in good spirits when he took part in events as part of Cowes Week on the Isle of Wight.

BLOOD SHED IN A FILLING STATION
Steady petrol scarcity in the city of portharcourt is getting out of hand as its beginning to cause blood shed, fights and Long queues in our filling stations on regular-basis. Today i was parked in one of the filling stations to get petrol and a serious fight busted out between two people in the process of dragging lines and space everyone wants to buy first, trust me the queue was a really long one
It became really serious when the other man in a lemon colour shirt brought out a weapon from the trunk of his car to stab the other person, but luckily the police suddenly intervened and saved the situation. Why all these? What is portharcourt city turning into?

Panic in Benin as plane hovers, aborts landing
OVER fifty passengers aboard a plane from Lagos to Benin City escaped death, Saturday, when the aircraft failed to land after hovering in the Benin airspace for about 15 minutes.
The incident caused panic in Benin-City as people immediately evacuated their homes, fearing that the plane might crash-land.
The flight flew back to Lagos after it failed to land at the airport. One of the passengers on board, who craved anonymity, disclosed that some “passengers fainted due to fear.”
The passenger continued: “We thought it was going to be another crash. We were hovering round the Benin airspace but we could not land. Of course people were shouting the name of Jesus until we were taken back to Lagos”.
A source at the Benin airport said the pilot may have failed to get landing clearance from the control tower. The Benin Airport Manager, Mr Segun Ayodele, he said he was unaware of the incident when contacted last night.

Cazorla could be the buy of the season'
Santi Cazorla could be one of the buys of the season, according to Arsène Wenger.
The Spain international signed from Malaga less than two weeks ago but has already endeared himself to the Arsenal fans after a sparkling debut against Sunderland.
Cazorla came close to scoring on three occasions and created the best chance of the match for Olivier Giroud. In the end Wenger had to settle for a 0-0 draw but he was delighted with his new Spanish playmaker.
"He played very well and looks like he could be one of the buys of the season," said Wenger.
"He has everything you want in the game. He can play short, he can play long, on the right or left, he can play the final ball and works hard as well. He is a fighter so it is very positive for us.
"[He settled quickly and] that shows people who say you need to play a long time together. Great players do not need a long time [to settle]."

Swansea target Davies will stay at Bolton says Coyle
Bolton boss Owen Coyle is adamant that Mark Davies wants to remain a part of the Championship club.
The 24-year old midfielder has been linked with Liverpool, and more recently Swansea City, but Coyle is confident after the player said he wanted to stay.
"I spoke to him the other day and he intimated to me he was happy here and wanted to be a part of Bolton Wanderers' plans," said Coyle.
"That is good enough for me.
"Anyway, we are not looking to dismantle a squad. We are trying to assemble a young hungry squad to get us back to the Premier League. Mark Davies is a huge part of that."
