Arnold Schwarzenegger: Admits He Inflicted Tremendous Pain On Maria
For Arnold Schwarzenegger, promoting his new autobiography, “Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story,” means finally opening up about his affair with his family’s housekeeper.
The tryst resulted in the birth of Schwarzenegger’s now teenage son and, eventually, the end of his 25-year marriage to Maria Shriver.
In an interview with “60 Minutes,” to air on Sunday at 7 p.m. ET/PT, journalist Lesley Stahl asks the former governor of California, “So you lied to [Shriver]?”
“You could say that,” Schwarzenegger responds.
“I think it was the stupidest thing I’ve done in the whole relationship,” he said. “It was terrible. I inflicted tremendous pain on Maria and unbelievable pain on the kids.”
In an excerpt from “Total Recall,” published by ABC, the actor shares the moment that Shriver learned of his infidelity.Shriver apparently made an appointment for the pair with a therapist after Schwarzenegger’s term as governor ended in 2011.
“The minute we sat down, the therapist turned to me and said, ‘Maria wanted to come here today and to ask about a child — whether you fathered a child with your housekeeper Mildred,’” the passage reads. “I told the therapist, ‘It’s true.’”
Schwarzenegger’s autobiography will be available on October 1.

Genuinely Loving Gestures That Show You Care
Have you expressed genuine affection for your partner lately?
There are literally hundreds, if not hundreds of thousands of ways we can behave that could be considered loving. Yet, it is from where the gesture comes from that distinguishes the loving act from the empty gesture. Are You In A Healthy Relationship?
What good is it for you hold your tongue in an argument, wanting credit for displaying self-control or hoping to get some payoff (like sex), while ultimately, you have contempt for your partner and find their behaviour regularly intolerable? There's very little good in that, it turns out! If your goal is to display your love or affection genuinely, here are my three suggestions.
1. Study your partner. Take care to learn who they are. What do they love, like and dislike? What do they find difficult? What sends them into their outer limits?
While this independent study may not result in your behaving much differently, your attention and care will be felt. Your investment of time is of the utmost importance to the overall quality and health of your long-term relationship.
2. Include their overall happiness as part of your daily awareness practice. In other words, check in with them daily; inquire about their feelings, dreams, struggles, agenda and goals, personal and otherwise. Hold their vision for themselves as if it were your own.
3. Listen carefully. Most people tell us what they want from us. If not directly, they usually drop clues constantly about what would make them happy, even deliriously happy. "An uninterrupted hour, free from housework, kids, phones, noise, responsibility and … don't ask ... Oh I could use a massage, a romantic dinner, to have you kidnap me for the night, or simply to pick up your dirty socks and clean up after yourself so I don’t have to ask you."
Your partner's problem should be your too, show him/her that you care in all aspect, don't say "well that's your problem, you've gotta handle it" its a No-No. Try to like what they like as well even if not all.

HOLLYWOOD ACTOR DEAD
Investigators believe "Sons of Anarchy" actor Johnny Lewis brutally killed his elderly landlord Wednesday before falling to his death as he tried to escape police whose sirens he heard approaching.
It could be weeks before police understand the cause of what they say was a violent rampage by Lewis, 28, that led to the death of Katherine Davis, 81.
Davis died from "blunt head trauma and strangulation," according to preliminary findings from the autopsy conducted Thursday, the Los Angeles County Coroner's office said.
Police suspect drugs were involved, but "we don't have any hard evidence that says he was on anything right now," LAPD Commander Andrew Smith said.
Toxicology findings from the autopsy conducted Thursday by the coroner will be crucial to determining if the actor was under the influence of drugs, Smith added. It is expected to take at least a month before the report is done.

Plane crashes in Nepal capital, killing all 19 on board
A plane heading for the Everest region has crashed in Nepal's capital, killing all 19 people on board including seven Britons, local officials say.
The plane, operated by Sita Air, came down minutes after take-off from Kathmandu. Officials said it crashed into a river bank and caught fire.
Sixteen passengers and three crew were on board the twin-engine prop plane.
The UK Foreign Office says Britons are among the dead but has not confirmed how many.
Police and aviation officials, however, said that seven Britons, five Chinese nationals and seven Nepali nationals were on the plane, including the three Nepalese crew.
The British Embassy in Kathmandu said the UK ambassador had gone to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, where the bodies of those who died had been taken.

Producer of anti-Islam film arrested
Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, the man allegedly behind the inflammatory film "Innocence of Muslims," was ordered held without bail Thursday after being arrested in California and accused of violating his probation.
"He engaged in a likely pattern of deception both to his probation officers and the court," Judge Suzanne Segal said in issuing her ruling.
The preliminary bail hearing began with Segal asking the defendant -- dressed in gray slacks and a white and yellow striped T-shirt, with handcuffs and chain around his waist -- what his true name was.
"Mark Basseley Yousseff," he replied.
The judge then asked again, what is your name?
"Mark Basseley," he said this time, again without spelling the name out.
The lawyer for the suspect, who has used at least 17 false names, according to court documents, but is mostly referred to as Nakoula, then argued for $10,000 bail.
Attorney Steve Seiden said his client had always maintained contact, in person and by telephone, with probation officers who have been monitoring him since his 2010 bank fraud conviction. But the main reason Nakoula shouldn't be jailed, his lawyer argued, was for safety reasons, saying the anti-Islam film would make him a target of fellow inmates.
"It is a danger for him to remain in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Los Angeles because there are a large number of Muslims in there," Seiden said. "We are extremely concerned about his safety."

Why You Shouldn't Nag!
The reason we shouldn’t nag or criticise is because both build resentment.
It’s easier to nag and criticise. Unfortunately these tactics don’t work in the long term. I know a married woman who nags her partner like you wouldn’t believe. Her family nag him too. She constantly plays the victim. I know she’s angry but her nagging hasn’t worked. It demotivates him and makes him less inclined to do what she wants him to do.
The Vicious Cycle of Nagging:
Nagging can become a vicious cycle. The more you nag, the more your mate avoids you or withdraws both emotionally and physically from you.
Why Nagging Doesn't Work:
Even though your gripes may be valid, nagging makes your spouse resentful.
Nagging makes your spouse defensive.
Nagging puts you in the parent role and your spouse in the child role. This isn't healthy for your marriage relationship.
Nagging is disrespectful.
Nagging is often perceived as criticism, so your spouse may tune out making what you are saying ineffective.
When your spouse is being nagged, he/she probably feels attacked personally.
Nagging can make your spouse feel inadequate.
Ways to Avoid Being a Nag:
Don't blame.
Don't demean.
Don't attack.
Don't criticise.
Don't manipulate.
Avoid making your spouse feel stupid.
Don't give in to your frustration and do your spouse's chores. Your mate needs to learn to deal with the logical consequences of being messy.
Instead of Nagging, Try Positive Approaches:
Share your feelings.
Stick to the issue at hand.
Keep your statements brief so they don't turn into long lectures.
Don't make ultimatums.
Avoid using the phrases, "You always..." and "You never..." and "You should..."
Consider saying "would you" or "will you" rather than "could you" or "can you". There's a subtle difference in the way the request will be heard by your spouse.
Set a good example in picking up after yourself, putting your clothes away or in the hamper, leaving the bathroom is good shape after your shower or bath, eating healthy foods, exercising, etc.
Try to brainstorm solutions with your spouse. Hiring a housekeeper or a handyman now and then may be a good alternative for some couples.
Acknowledge your different perspectives regarding chores and housekeeping expectations.
Show your appreciation when your spouse does put dishes in the dishwasher, or picks up a towel, turns off the television to take a walk with you, or when dirty clothes end up in the hamper.
See what happens if you stop nagging.

Julius Malema charged with money laundering
A South African court charged Julius Malema with money laundering Wednesday, and the firebrand politician scoffed at the accusations and riled up his supporters moments after his release on bail.
The former youth leader went into an anti-government tirade after his release.
He said the charge against him is politically motivated by President Jacob Zuma.
Speaking into a microphone, Malema, who appeared without his trademark beret and donned a dark suit and burgundy tie for the hearing, addressed his raucous supporters near the court.
He belittled the allegations against him as minor, saying the president told authorities to "just arrest him for anything."

Lady Gaga posts nearly nude pics
Lady Gaga struck back at tabloid attacks on her weight, posting photos of herself wearing only a bra and panties on her fan website Tuesday.
The singer's blog, titled "A Body Revolution 2013," invites fans to "be brave and celebrate with us your 'perceived flaws,' as society tells us," by posting their own photos.
"May we make our flaws famous, and thus redefine the heinous," Gaga wrote.
Are we really ready to take a look at 'real women'?
Online publications have speculated about Gaga's weight gain in recent months, which she has acknowledged to be about 25 pounds.
Four photographs posted on her LittleMonsters.com site Tuesday leave no questions about her size and shape, showing her nearly naked from the front, side and rear.

Rihanna Drops New Single ‘Diamonds’
Rihanna’s reign just won’t let up! The 24-year-old singer has released a new single called “Diamonds,” a song she’s described as “very hopeful and positive.”
Lyrically, “Diamonds” focuses on love, as she sings to a special someone in the first verse, “you and I, you and I, we’re like diamonds in the sky … You’re a shooting star I see, a vision of ecstasy, when you hold me, I’m alive, we’re like diamonds in the sky.” The song’s currently available on iTunes, and you can listen to it here.
“‘Diamonds’ steadily pulses with slight orchestral touches and deliberate electronic rhythms, but the track’s production mainly stays out of Rihanna’s way, letting the pop star build hooks with layers of her voice,” observes Rolling Stone.

The sexual abuse of young girls in Rochdale
The men plied their victims with drink and drugs so they could "pass them around" for sex
Social services and police "missed opportunities" to stop the sexual abuse of young girls in Rochdale, a report into a grooming scandal has revealed.
"Deficiencies" and "patchy" training of front line staff were behind the failings, the Rochdale Borough Safeguarding Children Board said in its review of child sexual exploitation.
It comes after nine men were jailed in May for grooming girls as young as 13.
Lawyers say the findings could support "legal action against social services".
The report - ordered in the aftermath of the grooming trial in Rochdale, Greater Manchester - reviews the work of local agencies, including the council, police and the Crown Prosecution Service between 2007 and 2012 in safeguarding children at risk of sexual exploitation.

The New Zealand church just for gang members
New Zealand, a country that routinely tops international lifestyle indexes, may not be the first place you would associate with gang culture - but violent gangs have deep roots in society.
The congregation at St Elizabeth's Church in Clendon, South Auckland, is like no other I've seen in the world. Clutching prayer books in liver-spotted hands are the silver-haired ladies you might expect to see in church on a Sunday morning - but towering over them with menacing tattooed knuckles grasping hymn books are former gang members.
It's not just the swastika tattoos, the missing teeth and scars that make these men - and some women - frightening. The list of serious crimes many of them have been convicted of is also terrifying. And those are just the crimes the police know about.
These people come from outlawed communities, steeped in so much crime that for many, savage beatings, rape and general brutality have been a daily occurrence.
It's a brave old lady that approaches this lot armed with nothing but a Bible and a warm smile.
But it seems that places like St Elizabeth's offer something that some of these gangsters are desperately seeking - community, acceptance and, as with all proselytising faiths, a new beginning.

Ludacris Stars In "Fast And Furious 6" New Movie
Luda, as his fans call him, has been filming the new movie in London and says moviegoers should prepare to be impressed.
“It kind of takes up from where we left off [in 'Fast and Furious 5'], and there is a whole new batch of surprises,” he said. “The crew that is in ‘Fast 5,’ we are going up against a rival crew, so it’s almost like Justice League up against the Legion of Doom.”
But don’t ask too many questions about the plot, as he’s sworn to secrecy. The rapper can’t even reveal if “Fast and Furious 6″ is the final installment in the franchise.
“My contract says I can’t even talk about that,” Ludacris said. “As long as the fans keep supporting it, I’m sure the movies will continue.”

Total warns against oil drilling in Arctic
Total SA says energy companies should not drill for crude in Arctic waters, marking the first time an oil major has publicly spoken out against offshore oil exploration in the region.
Christophe de Margerie, Total's chief executive, told the Financial Times the risk of an oil spill in such an environmentally sensitive area was simply too high. "Oil on Greenland would be a disaster," he said in an interview. "A leak would do too much damage to the image of the company".
Last week, Royal Dutch Shell had to postpone until next year an attempt to drill into oil-bearing rock off the Alaskan coast after a piece of safety equipment was damaged during testing. It has spent $4.5bn and seven years preparing to drill.

Iran halts YouTube, Google for Mohammed video
Iran blocked YouTube and its owner Google over the weekend because of an inflammatory movie trailer about the Prophet Mohammed that has infuriated Muslims in many countries around the world.
The sites were blocked "because of public demand," Iran's semiofficial Mehr news agency said Monday.

Tips On Falling Asleep
1. Just do it.
The best and simple tip on how to fall asleep quicker is to try to fall asleep. Some determination can really do miracles. Just think of all the good things that you will be able to do the next day if you only could learn how to fall asleep faster.
Imagine doing those things and feeling great about yourself, and just realize that you need to be rested if you want to have a great day tomorrow. Don’t try to put pressure on yourself! Just think of the end results that you will get if you could fall asleep faster tonight.
2. Avoid distraction.
Don’t look at TV or listen to music as it’s most likely these will keep you awake more than it should. So yes, learning how to fall asleep faster does require some sacrifices, but it will all be worth it.
3. Read a peaceful book.
Or a boring one. They both work for me. But do this until you go to bed because the idea is to fall asleep fast and not to read 100 pages in bed and then go to sleep. The moment you feel tired, put the book down and put your head on the pillow. This is the answer if you wanted to know how to fall asleep when not tired.
4. Get rid of distractions.
A simple yet effective tip on how to fall asleep very fast is this : put all the magazines, the remote control, fliers, books or any distraction away from the bed because this way you won’t be tempted to use them and you can fall asleep faster.
6. Avoid coffee.
Don’t fill you body with caffeine during daytime because you will feel the effects at night. Too much caffeine is both harmful for your health and sleep. You can also avoid having a coffee late in the afternoon as this will interfere with your sleep too.
7. Avoid drinking too much alcohol before sleep.
Boozing your body is not helping you sleep faster but will give you some well deserved headaches. Night sweats from alcohol are very common today when people abuse their bodies and drink too much.
8. Cut down on sweets.
One of the hardest tips on how to fall asleep fast without pills is to limit the amount of chocolate or candies that you eat. All that sugar will keep you very energized and unable to sleep.
9. Turn the lights off.
This is a no-brainer but so many people try to fall asleep with the night lamp on and is not a miracle they don’t succeed. This will, in most cases, be the answer to the how to fall asleep faster question that one may have. Some people can and prefer to sleep with the lights one, but, most of us can’t do that. We sometimes tend to forget that we sleep better without any lights on, so we need to remember ourselves that. If you have trouble sleeping even with the smallest sign of light peaking through your curtains, try using an eye mask.
10. Don’t waste time in front of the PC.
Avoid staying in front of the computer till later in the night if is not necessary. All that bright light coming from the computer won’t help you to fall asleep faster.
12. Don’t exercise close to bed time.
Most people will feel energized if they work out before bedtime and this will stop them from falling asleep. Because of the adrenaline that is created when we workout, we feel alive and a boost of energy fills our bodies and that is why you should not workout before bedtime unless you know that this will make you sleepy. If I start doing this, I can’t fall asleep too soon, and that’s why I exercise early in the morning. But, who knows how you will feel after this. Just try it and see.
13. Pamper yourself with a nice bath.
A warm bath can give us the answers to how to fall asleep faster. So, have a warm bath. You will feel relaxed and the sleep will come naturally. You should take a bath with 1 or 2 hours prior to going to sleep, because the steam and that hot water will make you sleepy about 1-2 hours after the bath has been taken.
Use bath oils to create a relaxing atmosphere or dip into a bathtub full of bubbles. Look for a bubble bath that smells like your favorite flowers or like bubble gum if you want a quirk moment.
Click here to check some bath oils or here if you want a tub full of bubbles.
You should always try this for a couple of nights and see how it works best for you. Remember every one has got issues hun? go thinking all night, catch some sleep!

Facebook raises fears with ad tracking
Facebook is working with a controversial data company called Datalogix that can track whether people who see ads on the social networking site end up buying those products in stores.
Amid growing pressure for the social networking site to prove the value of its advertising, Facebook is gradually wading into new techniques for tracking and using data about users that raise concerns among privacy advocates.
"We kept hearing back [from marketers] that we needed to push further and help them do a better job," said Brad Smallwood, Facebook's head of measurement and insights.
Datalogix has purchasing data from about 70m American households largely drawn from loyalty cards and programmes at more than 1,000 retailers, including grocers and drug stores. By matching email addresses or other identifying information associated with those cards against emails or information used to establish Facebook accounts, Datalogix can track whether people bought a product in a store after seeing an ad on Facebook.
The emails and other identifying information are made anonymous and collected into groups of people who saw an ad and people who did not. Datalogix compiles a report for Facebook and its advertisers to measure which creative approaches and demographic targeting persuade people to buy specific products offline.

John Terry Announces his retirement from England
Former England captain John Terry has announced his retirement from international football with immediate effect.
The Chelsea defender, who won 78-caps for his country, was scheduled to attend an FA hearing on Monday for allegedly racially abusing QPR's Anton Ferdinand.
Terry was cleared of the allegations by a London court in July.
Terry, who lost the armband on two separate occasions for off-field incidents, says the FA has made his 'position with the national team untenable.'
And the 31-year-old has now confirmed that he will be unavailable to represent England in their quest to qualify for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
In a statement, he said: "I am today announcing my retirement from international football.
"I would like to thank the England managers who have selected me for my 78 caps.
"I have had great pleasure in sharing that honour with all the players that I've played with.
"I would like to thank them, the fans and my family for their support and encouragement during my international career.
"Representing and captaining my country is what I dreamed of as a boy and it has been a truly great honour.

Ivory Coast closes Ghana border
Coast has closed its borders with Ghana after a brazen attack against its security forces left eight people dead, the country's defense minister said.
The attack occurred Thursday and carried into Friday morning when gunmen launched an assault against two police stations and a military post in the coastal town of Port-Bouet.
The border town of Noe also was attacked, said Defense Minister Paul Koffi Koffi. Those responsible then fled to Ghana, though not before five of the gunmen were killed, officials said.
Ivory Coast shares a more than 400-mile border with Ghana, where loyalists to former President Laurent Gbagbo have gone into exile.
Ghana President John Dramani Mahama vowed earlier this month not to allow his country to serve as "back base" to destabilize its neighbor.
Last month, three top allies of Gbagbo were arrested in less than a week, raising political tension in the West African country where its army has been hit by weeks of attacks.

Pakistan minister calls for filmmaker's death
A Pakistan government minister has personally offered a $100,000 reward for anyone who kills the man who made the anti-Islam movie that is drawing ire throughout the Muslim world.
Railway Minister Ghulam Ahmad Bilour announced the bounty at a news conference Saturday, but he made clear to CNN he was speaking for himself and not as a government representative.
Asked whether he was concerned about committing or condoning a crime as a government official, Bilour said, "I am a Muslim first, then a government representative."
He said he invited the Taliban and al Qaeda to carry out the assassination.
Sen. Zahid Khan, a spokesman for Bilour's political party, said the minister's action is not representative of the Awami National Party.
"We believe in nonviolence. How could we make such announcements?" Khan said. "Our party has been fighting against militancy and extremism for years. How could we invite Taliban and al Qaeda to kill someone? Taliban and al Qaeda are our enemies who have killed our loved ones."
"We have lots of concerns over the statement of our colleague," he added.

Women raped by Sinai traffickers find help
The Sinai desert is a hub for people trafficking. Many of the refugees from sub-Saharan Africa who get smuggled through here get tortured and blackmailed in the process.
Bedouin gangs – instead of trafficking the refugees straight into Israel — often hold them captive, torture them and force relatives into paying ransoms for their release.
The ordeal is exceptionally bad for women. Many of them are raped by the traffickers and some become pregnant.
Tegisti who finally made it to Israel shared her story, she said she was raped by traffickers several times during the trip. She told me she wanted to talk about her suffering to help prevent others from going through the same.
“They are cruel people,” she said as tears ran down her cheeks. “They are criminal people and they don’t have the human sense like us. I screamed that I am virgin but they just don’t care at all about you.”
Tegisti says the first time she was raped the traffickers selected her and another female refugee from a larger group and took them away saying they would have to make coffee for the smugglers. There would be several similar incidents during her treacherous trek across the Sinai.
When Tegisti finally made it to Israel she found out she was pregnant and decided to have an abortion.
“I would suffer all my life,” she said. “I would have a son or a daughter without a father. That’s why I decided not to have the baby.”

NUC Bans Re-sit of Exams In Universities
The National Universities Commission (NUC), has banned the conduct of re-sit examinations in Nigerian universities.
The NUC Chief Information Officer, Mrs Bukola Olatunji, in Abuja, on Wednesday, frowned on the discovery that some universities conduct supplementary examination for their students, in addition to regular semester examinations.
The commission therefore warned that the conduct of such examinations was in violation of extant rules and regulations, and urged all universities involved to stop the practice henceforth or face sanction.
In quote “The attention of the NUC has been drawn to the fact that some universities conduct supplementary examination for their students, in addition to regular semester examinations… This contradicts the Course Credit System in operation in the Nigerian university system, which has no provision for re-sit or supplementary examinations.
“For the avoidance of doubt, the Course Credit System provides that courses should be taken on semester basis and a course failed in one semester should be carried over to the following year and to be re-taken at the next available opportunity.”

Dozens die as Syrian warplanes hit gas station
Syrian government warplanes targeted a northern town Thursday, hitting a gas station and triggering an explosion that killed at least 55 people, opposition forces said.
It's the latest salvo in Syria's bloody 18-month-old civil war that shows no sign of letting up. Dozens were wounded in the airstrike in Raqqa province that two opposition groups said was carried out by Syrian government aircraft.
The opposition Local Coordination Committees of Syria distributed videos of the site, a flat and barren landscape. They showed black smoke, charred and destroyed vehicles, holes in the ground and people milling around corpses.
The strike came a day after rebels seized a border crossing in Raqqa near Syria's border with Turkey.
Earlier Thursday, five people were reported killed from aerial shelling of residential neighborhoods in Aleppo, and MiG warplane activity was reported in Damascus countryside villages, the LCC said.

What You Should Know About Being Gay
People who do not understand the views of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people are not all bigots; and people who are fully affirming in their support of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender* people are not all heretics. This conversation often is relegated to love and hate, right and wrong, but there is a wide expanse between the two sides. And that middle group is, for the most part, silent. You are the ones to whom I am offering these insights, from experience, knowledge, study, relationship and with a genuine interest in engaging the too often silent middle.
With Bible in hand and in spirit, an open mind and heart and a willingness to listen to people, I entered the conversation that often brings out the worst in people. I hope to inspire you to move and to speak up with the Jesus-voice inside you. 1. Being gay is not a choice. In the world now people are almost evenly divided on the question of choice: “Are people born gay?” (42%) vs. “Do they choose to be gay?”(44%). For the most part, how we answer this will dictate related views about inclusion in the church and civil rights for gay, lesbian and bisexual people. When individuals hold the “born gay” option as true, it is more probable that they are also supportive about extending equality to the gay, lesbian and bisexual people.
To the contrary, those who believe people “choose to be gay” most often see being gay as a “behaviour” and not an intrinsic part of a person’s being. Behaviours, they reason, are controllable and changeable and therefore, they conclude, sexual attraction is controllable, if not changeable. When sexual orientation is seen as a choice and a behaviour, people are less likely to extend civil rights and inclusion in the church for gay, lesbian and bisexual people. There is no gene yet discovered for human sexuality, whether that be heterosexual or homosexual. Opinions formed in and out of relationships along with anecdotal evidence become the basis for each of our truths. Relationship. I write and say that word a lot — it matters.
Being gay and sexual orientation are not as simple as “who you have sex with.” Sexual orientation speaks of an emotional, relational and sexual fulfillment and comfort. Gay people, just like heterosexual people, are attracted, at the core, to a gender at a young age. All of this is innocent and has no sexual overtones. As heterosexuals, when we recall a crush on a second grade teacher or the warm ease of being with a family friend, we never associate “sex” with it; yet we will often insert “sex” into the historical impressions of a gay person. Long before thoughts of sex enter a child’s brain, both heterosexual and homosexual children have a brain imprint of attraction. There is no choice for “behaviour.”It is innate.

Reasons For Cheating
Cheating in relationship has become one of the least understood, but most written about, subjects of all time. Why are so many people breaking up? Why is cheating so rampant?
Presidents have had their spouses cheat on them
From relationship specialists to rocket scientists, humans have always wondered why a minister’s wife, a president’s wife or a king’s wife will cheat with the man who sells her charcoal. Men have also from time immemorial irrespective of their standing in society cheated with their house girls. Cheating is not the sole preserve of either men or women. Neither does it happen among humans alone. We are animals and like other animals we have needs other than foods that we feel must be satisfied.
Love is not everything
Love is not the only tie that binds men and women in relationships. Men may need companionship, prestige, babies, and of course lots of sex. Women may need companionship, prestige, babies, and perhaps sharing in their men’s success, including money. There is no way these needs can all be found in the same man or woman. Other animals know this and therefore never bind themselves to any single entity for the rest of their lives. The human animal fails to appreciate the differences that exist among individuals and therefore seeks to harvest these long time relationship pillars from the same individual, and here lie the seeds of disco
None is perfect
No single woman can be beautiful, intelligent, understanding, loving and caring all at once. A man who desires a pretty face, a wonderful brain, perfect understanding among other things must sure enough look elsewhere for love or sex or understand the little failings that abound in all of us.
There is no Mr. Right
No single man can be handsome, rich, and a great companion of all women at all times. A woman who desires that handsome face and body, lots of riches and ambition, great sex, love and care, must sure enough look for one or two of these aspects elsewhere if she can’t appreciate the same fact aforementioned. The tall handsome dude who isn’t a pauper may still be a violent man ready to try the Chuck Norris movie tricks on you, or worse still, threaten you with a machete or an axe everyday of your life. He may still be a bank robber under cover.
The only reason why people cheat, cheated and will keep cheating is because we humans are insatiable..

Controlling Your Temper
Temper can be vicious, an innate monster coming alive within any person. It brings out the animal in you, much worse when others see you react in a fit of anger. The helpless, run away from you in fear, shying away from senses of innate detectable turmoil understanding, will react in silence trying to dwell on the question of why? A direct element for all acts of violence, from the most heinous to the most petty.
A bad temper as catalyst for the most heinous of crimes committed in history. A bad mood catapulting into uncontrollable desire to let off frustrations, tantamount to hurting someone, physically or emotionally. A common entity affecting many in our current times. A terrible vice that increases your blood pressure, destroys a good mood and brings complete imbalance to the harmony of body and mind. Are human beings aggressive by nature or is the behavior brought on by external forces, accentuated to destructive degrees?
Does the element of patience go hand in hand with those who lose it as compared to those who exercise great amounts of patience. Very often the repercussions of losing ones temper impact with regret much later. Then again who gives one the right to be angry with another? Condescending attitudes and feelings of having an elevated status allows one to creep into the security and harmony of others.
Acceptance of reality, acceptance of others as being human, helps curb anger bouts. Love and patience go together when becoming this better person. No person can be perfectly composed all the time. This accounts for falseness and bottling up inner emotions. Giving vent to these suppressed irritations is important, but the manner in doing it is important. Greater impact can be achieved by not raising your voice and but by just being firm and getting your point across.
Self help exercises to slow down the tempo will also help. Closing your eyes for a few minutes and virtually getting out of this state also helps a great deal. Picture something calm and tranquil and see yourself physically in this picture. This gives the body and mind to slow down and regain composure. A very tried and tested technique adopted frequently by the Chinese. Those who find themselves in stressful situations and environments all the time, should try this out as frequently as possible.
Consciousness of any state of mind needs to be checked by the individual, frequently. This includes feelings of disdain, anxiety and anger. Once aware, the person needs to be in check and adjust that feeling accordingly. The thought of this may be excruciating, but constant checking will soon become a habit. The eventual temperament of calm and control will soon prevail.
Words spoken in a fit of anger can be damaging and hurting to both the self and others. The worse form of regret is when words thrown at another can not be undone. In knowing that many have toned down from being this vicious monster to a more calm and understanding human being, encourages others to adopt the same healthy attitude.

Painkillers 'are the cause' of millions of headaches
Up to a million people in the UK have "completely preventable" severe headaches caused by taking too many painkillers, doctors have said.
They said some were trapped in a "vicious cycle" of taking pain relief, which then caused even more headaches.
The warning came as part of the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence's (NICE) first guidelines for treating headaches.
It is also recommending acupuncture in some circumstances.
"Medication overuse headaches" feel the same as other common headaches or migraines.
There is no definitive UK data on the incidence of the condition, but studies in other countries suggest 1-2% of people are affected, while the World Health Organization says figures closer to 5% have been reported.
While painkillers would be many people's instant response, they could be making sufferers feel even worse.
Prof Martin Underwood, from Warwick Medical School, who led the NICE panel, said: "This can end up getting into a vicious cycle where your headache gets worse, so you take more painkillers, so your headache gets worse and this just becomes worse and worse and worse.
"It is such an easy thing to prevent."
'Tipping point'
Exactly how painkillers have this effect on the brain is unknown.
Most of the people affected are thought to have started with either everyday, tension-type headaches or migraines. The headaches then became worse as they treated themselves at home.
Manjit Matharu, a consultant neurologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, said there was a tipping point at 10 to 15 days of using pain relief each month when the drugs became the issue.
He said: "This is a huge problem in the population. The figures in terms of the number of people who have medication overuse headache are one in 50, so that is approximately a million people who have headaches on a daily or near daily basis because they're using painkillers."
People with a family history of tension-type headaches or migraine may also be genetically more vulnerable to medication overuse headaches. They could be susceptible when taking pain relief even if it is not for headaches.

Mass Murderer James Holmes, AKA Batman Shooter, has escaped Prison.
James Holmes, Aka The Batman Shooter, who killed 12 people and injured a further 58 during a screening of the Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises, has allegedly escaped prison.
The 24 year old, who had no previous convictions, but had been counselled previously for mental conditions, allegedly escaped prison in the early morning of September 18th 2012.
A press release will be made later today, however officers have stated that they hope to have him back in custody without a fuss before public hysteria is created.
It is thought that he may have had some inside help, and officers and security who were on watch, will be questioned. But they seem to have one suspect in mind as one of the security guards, Chris Croft has not been seen since an alert was raised to say James Holmes was missing.
There are concerns however, as to the state of mind of James Holmes and people should be extra vigilant and report anything suspicious.
Hopefully this sick and twisted individual will be back behind bars before the police are forced to make an announcement.

What You Should Know Before Getting Married
Getting married is a big step. Even starting a new relationship with someone is kind of like jumping into the pool feet first. Is there anything you can do to keep a relationship or marriage from ending badly? Is there anything you should know before getting married or starting a new relationship, so you can have the best chance at success? We think so! Here are a few things that intelligent people should consider before getting married.
Is Marriage Still A Valid Social Construct?
There are many people today that are quite jaded about the whole concept of marriage. The feel that one time was enough for them. Since they did not marry the "right" person to go the distance with the first time, they believe marriage is simply not for them.
They look upon marriage with disdain and feel that it is merely a trap and that most marriages either dissolve or that those who stick it out are not usually there because they "want" to be. I believe people with this point of view are not thinking outside of the box on this one. After all, if you had one bad job would you never take on another one again?
Holding onto angst and blame from a previous relationship only halts you from fulfilling any potential of a new and possibly better situation.
The Up Side Of Marriage
So what is the upside of marriage?
Marriage creates a true partnership and a strong foundation for all other areas of your life. A loving, happy marriage provides you with the support and courage that you need to pursue your dreams. It is a safe home base when the world gets to be too much and the ultimate source of self-expression.
Nothing will tell you more about yourself than your marriage but here are some things you may not have considered...
Love Yourself First
The most important thing you need to do before embarking on a long-term relationship or marriage is learning to love yourself first, flaws included. Many of us look for acceptance from others, when we haven't accepted ourselves yet. Unfortunately, we won't ever get the kind of acceptance we crave as human beings from another person unless we've done it ourselves first. Accept who you are, love yourself for who you are and other people will begin to do the same. Seeking outside approval is going to get you nowhere.
Honesty First - No Exceptions
It's a rare couple that feels safe being completely honest with one another on absolutely any topic. It's also rare that couples stay married for life! We feel that absolute honesty is crucial for a lifelong partnership.
If you can't be honest with each other and talk about absolutely any topic before you get married, then we say your marriage is in trouble from the start.
Don't Try To Fix The Other Person
The biggest problem in relationships and marriages is that a person doesn't fall in love with someone for who they are right now, they fall in love with who they think this person will be after they are "fixed." Many women try to change their boyfriends, partners and husbands after they've already gotten knee deep in the relationship. Men do it too, but it usually only ends in frustration and the dissolution of the relationship.
Don't think of how you can fix or change your partner, or that you'd love them if they just didn't do this one little thing... learn to love your partner for who they are right now, not who you think they will be. Long term relationships are difficult, but they always help us grow. Allow your partner to help you grow and vice versa, but recognize the difficulty involved before you jump in. A good, loving, satisfying relationship or marriage is never going to be easy. But nothing that is easy is worth having.
Attend Pre-Marriage Counseling
We recommend attending couples counseling before making a huge commitment. Just because you're in counseling doesn't mean anything is wrong in the relationship -- it's actually a great way to learn about your partner as well as learn about yourself, and learn about healthy ways to handle problems and disagreements that will inevitably come up in the future.

French injunction against magazine
The royal couple are on the final leg of their nine-day Diamond Jubilee tour
A French court has blocked the future publication of topless photos of the Duchess of Cambridge sunbathing while on holiday.
The injunction came after the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took action against France's Closer magazine for selling and distributing the images.
The publishers must give the originals to the couple within 24 hours.
It will also face a fine of 10,000 euros (£8,000) for every breach if it re-publishes or distributes the photos.
The photographs were taken while the duchess was sunbathing on a private holiday with her husband at the French chateau of the Queen's nephew, Lord Linley, in Provence, earlier this month.
The couple says the publication by the magazine breached their privacy.
The ruling came after prosecutors said they were considering whether there were grounds for criminal charges.
The decision to begin the preliminary criminal probe follows a formal complaint by the royals to prosecutors, with aides saying they were looking for proceedings against both the magazine and the photographer who took the pictures.
Applying for the injunction on Monday, Aurelien Hamelle, the lawyer representing Prince William and Catherine, said the scenes captured were intimate and personal and had no place on the front page of a magazine.
But a lawyer for Closer claimed the royal couple's reaction was disproportionate.
Delphine Pando said topless photographs were no longer considered shocking and denied the chateau was inaccessible to public view. She also said the magazine did not hold the rights to the pictures.
No British newspaper has printed the pictures.
But Italian magazine Chi - along with Closer, part of former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi's Mondadori media group - printed a special edition on Monday featuring more than 20 pages of the photographs.
Meanwhile, Irish Daily Star editor Michael O'Kane has been suspended while an internal investigation is carried out into the publication of the photographs.

10 Things You Probably Shouldn’t Tell Your Girlfriend
So you found yourself a nice girl, but you don’t know what things you should let her really know about you. Here are some things you might want to keep secret from your girlfriend.
1.
You find her mom attractive. If your girlfriend has a hot mom, it might be best that you don’t tell your girlfriend what you think. No girl wants to think that her boyfriend is trying to get with her mom.
2.
When you first met her, which you was really hitting on her friend. We all had nights when we were hitting on a girl who didn’t like us and we ended up going home with her friend. If this is your situation, then don’t remind her about it.
3.
All the things that you don’t like about her. There is no woman out there that wants a boyfriend who points out all of her faults. This is where you remember that you’re not perfect yourself.
4.
About how serious you want to be. This one can go both ways. If you want to get married and don’t know how she feels, then it is best to keep it to yourself for a little while. If your girlfriend wants to be serious and you don’t want the same, then don’t go out and say anything till you’re a hundred percent sure.
5.
Don’t tell about self pleasing. Women don’t want to hear about a man pleasing himself. That will make a woman feel like she isn’t good enough.
6.
About past gay thoughts. If you’re a man who has had thoughts about men, but never went through with it and don’t plan to, then just keep it to yourself.
7.
Don’t say she is like your ex girlfriend. There might be some things about your girlfriend that will remind you of an ex girlfriend. You should never tell your current girlfriend anything about this.
9.
There are some things that a man does in the bathroom that should stay in the bathroom. Guys your women don’t need to know what you left in the toilet.

Deadly Sins of Dating
Maintaining relationships can be difficult business, and it only grows more complicated as the time and emotion you invest into a partner increases. As expected, you won’t always get along. There will be plenty of arguments over finances, the clashing personalities of friends and family as well as over little things like how he always leaves the quart of milk in the fridge with not even enough for a bowl of Special K. If your relationship is strong enough, it will breeze right past the small stuff, but sometimes even the strongest relationships will find themselves at a point of no return.

What changes in a relationship to make it not even worth salvaging? Afghanistan suicide bomber hits foreigners on Kabul bus
Up to 12 people are reported to have been killed in a suicide bomb attack on a minibus carrying foreigners near the Afghan capital, Kabul.
The attack happened on a major road leading to the international airport.
Afghan insurgent group Hezb-e-Islami has claimed responsibility for the blast, which it says was in response to a recent anti-Islam video.
It comes as Nato announces that it will restrict operations with Afghan forces from now on.
The joint command of the International Security Assistance Force (Isaf) in Afghanistan cited a recent rise in insider attacks on Nato forces and events related to anger over the Innocence of Muslims film as the reasons behind the decision.
Fifty-one Nato troops have been killed by Afghan soldiers so far this year - 15 in August alone.
Joint operations will now only be conducted at battalion level - large operations involving several hundred troops - ending day-to-day operations, says the BBC's Quentin Sommerville.
Some smaller missions may still take place, but will have to be evaluated by senior commanders on a case by case basis.
However, the Afghan ministry of defence said it had not been formally notified of the changes, adding that senior officials from both sides were currently meeting.

Nicki Minaj And Keith Urban join 'American Idol'
Rapper Nicki Minaj and Australian country singer Keith Urban will join the "American Idol" judges panel when the TV competition's 12th season starts in January, the Fox network said Sunday.
The panel is growing from three to four judges next season, with singer Mariah Carey, hired in July, and "Idol" original Randy Jackson sitting with Minaj and Urban, the network said.
The judges immediately jumped into action Sunday, auditioning singers at New York's Lincoln Center.
Rocker Steven Tyler and singer Jennifer Lopez left the show at the end of last season, after judging for two seasons.
Jackson's return was made official after weeks of speculation he would move to a mentor role on the show.
Earlier speculation also included the names of Latin singer Enrique Iglesias and former "Idol" contestant Adam Lambert as possible judges.
The official announcement noted Minaj's "unique performance style and iconic fashion."
"Minaj became the first female solo artist to have seven singles simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100 chart," it said.
Minaj, 29, "represents a different side of the music industry, who has now crossed into mainstream culture with her unique artistry, style and flair," Cecile Frot-Coutaz, the CEO of "Idol" owner FremantleMedia, said.

Usher talks about marriage, divorce and his kids
If you missed Oprah Winfrey’s interview with Usher on Sunday for “Oprah’s Next Chapter,” you might’ve missed the only time Usher willingly opened up about his tumultuous separation from his former wife, Tameka Foster.
The 33-year-old superstar spoke to Winfrey about his doubts ahead of marrying Foster in 2007, why he decided to move forward with matrimony, and what led to his filing for divorce in 2009.
Part of his decision to marry Foster, Usher told Winfrey Sunday, was a sense that it was “the right way to do things.” Foster was pregnant with their son, Usher Raymond V, and, “really, I wanted to do things right,” Usher said. “Or at least the perception of what right may be. I impregnated this woman, we were in a relationship, we were in love, so I felt like, this is the right way.”
However, he said, “I always felt like maybe we weren’t ready. Maybe this wasn’t the time or the way to do it. Part of that, I think, played into the demise of it.”
Their planned celebration was scrapped in favor of a more private exchange of vows amidst plenty of backlash from those who didn’t support his decision to wed.
He did love Foster, Usher said, but the writing of their eventual split was on the wall before their second son, Naviyd, was born at the end of 2008.
“When we had Usher, it was by far one of the most incredible moments of my life, I couldn’t have been more happy,” Usher said. “After that, I did get a great sense of the insecurities that were there, and she wasn’t coping well being in this position … being married to Usher, and all that came with that, I guess.”
Even disregarding for a moment the stress being married in the limelight can bring, Usher pointed to other issues in their relationship.
“It’s hard being married and working the way that I work, period. It’s hard being in that position and wanting to make someone happy, and there not really being anyway that you ever can, because they’ve got their own s*** they’ve gotta deal with,” he told Winfrey. “I didn’t know how to balance it, it was obviously too much for me. I didn’t want to get to the point that I would cause myself harm or do something that I felt like would be harmful to me. … It didn’t work out.”
And was he faithful? Short answer: “No.”
The longer answer the “Climax” singer gave Winfrey was that “towards the end of our marriage, I found myself lost, and I just wanted out. … I was faithful at heart, but not faithful all the way.”
The controversial former couple have been embroiled in a messy custody dispute that resulted in a judge granting Usher primary custody at the end of August. Along the way, Foster’s accused the singer of being an absentee father.
“Absentee from the aspect of having to go and work, that probably would be her version of what absentee would be. But no, I’m not an absentee father at all,” Usher told Winfrey. “I was born to do what I’m doing as a dad. And I realized that once I had a child. When I had them, that’s when they became a priority. It wasn’t because of this case.”

Four Happy Marriage Tips
1. If your goal is to have a satisfying marriage with longevity, make sure you are accountable for the part you play in the relationship—good or bad. When you are in denial about your part in the relationship then you are no better than a child flinging sand at another child in a sandbox. When you take responsibility for your part in the marriage, only then will you be able to connect with your partner in a mature, intimate way. -
2. Research consistently shows that touching more creates a stronger bond by releasing oxytocin. Hold hands, rub shoulders, hug, kiss, give high-fives or even fist-bumps or bottom pats. When you give a quick hug or kiss, try to lengthen it to at least 5 or 10 seconds for more effective results! -
3. Learn how to agree to disagree. No two people agree on everything, and that's okay, but it's important to be okay with each other's differences. -
4. Sometimes it's not about the amount of money you spend on a gift, it's about the thought that goes into something. Take the time to write a thoughtful note every time saying what you love and appreciate about him/her. Drop it in his/her briefcase or purse so he/she will find it unexpectedly and it will brighten up his/her day.
